This purr-fect yellow-orange kitty has paused a moment to give you a smirk. The bright warm colors pop off of the splashy purple background colors and in a flash kitty takes off to fulfill their sassy potential.
Hidden beneath the vibrant skin is a heart of upcycled, post-consumer plastics—giving a second life to materials once destined for the waste stream. The exterior is hand-sculpted and finished with a custom blend of high-gloss spray paints and traditional acrylics, capturing the fluid energy of the deep.
This original work is housed in a hand-painted wooden shadow box. Its design offers three distinct ways to bring a bit of the ocean into your space:
Traditional: Use the pre-installed sawtooth hanger for a clean wall mount.
Organic: Hang via the jute cord for a tactile, rustic feel.
Modern: The 1.5" depth allows the box to stand independently on any shelf or mantle.

The Story
A playful study in transformation and personality. This jellyfish is hand-sculpted with a "sweet yet mischievous" expression, hiding a heart of upcycled, post-consumer plastics. What was once discarded is now reborn under a vibrant, multi-layered skin of high-gloss spray paints and fine-detail traditional acrylics.
The Presentation
The figure is framed within a custom-painted wooden shadow box, creating a self-contained underwater vignette. The deep, saturated colors blues and oranges of the exterior contrast beautifully with the tactile nature of the paper-mâché, making it a striking conversation piece.
